Nope, that's a christian thing.

They have some decorations here and there in shops because they find it cool, but don't expect any decorations on houses, and never in my lifetime do I hope to see kids Trick-or-Treating.

I agree !!

So I try to do my best to at least show the kids that it exists, and if they like it, well... they are the future generation after all, they could be able to do something about it.

Here is our Jack O Lantern designed by Scott and I. He did the carving. Smile

This one was taken in the dark. It is interesting because it looks like it was taken in light. Talk about a powerful flash.

This one is taken with no flash.

This one looks like a phoenix is rising out of it. This is just the way it turned out after taking it in the dark with that powerful flash.

My surrogate brother Darren made the one on the left, my husband Andy made the middle one, and I made the one on the right.

Nice, Laura. I have to say, the middle one made the smile! They are all cool, though. Yay for Jack 'o lanterns! Smile

Would post our Pumpkin but I camera was damaged because for some reason Allison's brother had it and dropped it in the Pond.

at least he went out side for something other than School. Always locks himself in his room... But at least he doesn't flirt with me anymore, was kinda annoying. Mom says she has a Camera on her list to buy for Allison for Christmas.

Oh sorry went off topic. Those are some neat, cute pumpkins! We made 2, Adam got really into it.... was the first time he carved a pumpkin.

I actually made one and brought it to school. Excellent reaction from the kids, as usual.

Now that pumpkin cost me about 17$. Was pretty average in size. And, of course, when I remembered this thread on Halloween's day and went out to take a picture, it was gone. Someone took it lol...

Now the purpose was for the kids to enjoy, and it was past 1h on Halloween when I discovered the robbery (although it was still there at 23h when I went to change the candle), so I shrugged and went back in. Prevents me the trouble of throwing it away....
