SAL's personal class builds

Here's the current versions of my Core Specialization PvE builds I prefer using for all of my classes. These builds are all originally created by me; I never copy from or even really look at meta build sites for PvE. They have all been tested extensively in various dungeons and higher scale fractals though, to ensure their endgame effectiveness.

Gigas Lionhart's Phalanx Sentinel build (Warrior)

STRENGTH: 2-2-1
- Restorative Strength - Using a heal skill removes conditions.
- Forceful Greatsword - Gain might on a critical hit with a greatsword or spear. Greatsword and spear skills deal more damage and recharge faster.
- Berserker's Power - Increased damage for 10 seconds after hitting with a burst skill based on how much adrenaline you used.
TACTICS: 3-1-3
- Empowered - Increases damage for every boon on you.
- Shrug It Off - Use "Shake It Off!" automatically when you have a number of conditions on you.
- Phalanx Strength - When you grant yourself might, grant it to nearby allies as well.
DISCIPLINE: 1-1-2
- Crack Shot - Rifle and harpoon gun shots pierce. Reduced recharge on rifle and harpoon gun skills.
- Inspiring Battle Standard - Banners also grant regeneration to allies.
- Heightened Focus - Gain quickness when you strike a foe below the health threshold.

Weapons: Greatsword, Rifle (Sigil of Strength highly recommended for both)
Skills: Healing Signet, Balanced Stance, Banner of Discipline, Banner of Tactics, Battle Standard
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Berserker's (Power, Precision, Ferocity), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision)

A very versatile support build that can benefit a party multiple ways. Using the Phalanx Strength trait grants up to 25 stacks of might to the party using Greatsword's Hundred Blades skill, providing an extremely powerful offensive boost to the your entire team. Inspiring Battle Standard also provides a constant health regeneration through the use of banners, increasing the team's survivability. The build also provides the Warrior with a personally strong offensive and defensive balance, allowing them to adapt to virtually any possible situation.



Falcon Arcana's Blast Furnace build (Elementalist)

FIRE MAGIC: 1-1-3
- Burning Precision - Critical hits have a chance to cause burning, and burning lasts longer.
- Pyromancer's Training - Deal more damage while attuned to fire. Reduces recharge on all fire weapon skills.
- Blinding Ashes - Blind foes that you burn.
EARTH MAGIC: 1-1-2
- Eath's Embrace - Gain Armor of Earth whenever your health drops below the threshold.
- Strength of Stone - Gain condition damage based on your toughness.
- Written in Stone - Maintain the passive effects of signets when you activate them. Reduce recharge of signets.
AIR MAGIC: 3-1-1
- Ferocious Winds - Gain ferocity based on your precision.
- Inscription -  Grants a boon associated with your current attunement when you cast a glyph. Reduces glyph recharge.
- Bolt to the Heart - Deal more damage when your foe's health drops below the threshold.

Weapon: Staff
Skills: Signet of Restoration, Signet of Air, Glyph of Elemental Power, Glyph of Lesser Elementals, Glyph of Elementals
Gear Attributes: Carrion (Condition Damage, Power, Vitality), Knight's (Precision, Power, Toughness), Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power)

A powerful offensive condition damage build. This build deals strong damage while primarily staying in Fire Attunement, while still able to benefit from switching temporarily into the other attunements when needed.



Crash Schprocket's Kit Master build (Engineer)

EXPLOSIVES: 3-3-1
- Glass Cannon -   Damage increases when above health threshold.
- Short Fuse - Bombs explode faster and have a faster cooldown.
- Siege Rounds - Mortar rounds leave a longer-lasting combo field. Orbital Strike hits an additional time 1 second after the first hit.
FIREARMS: 2-1-1
- Heavy Armor Exploit -  Your critical hits have a chance to give you swiftness and apply vulnerability to your foe.
- Pinpoint Distribution - You gain condition damage based on your precision.
- Juggernaut - Gain might and stability while wielding a flamethrower.
TOOLS: 1-1-2
- Static Discharge - Discharge a bolt of lightning whenever you use a tool belt skill.
- Streamlined Kits - Equipping a kit creates an attack or spell and grants you swiftness.
- Adrenal Implant - Endurance regeneration is increased.

Weapon: (anything)
Skills: Med Kit, Elixir Gun, Flamethrower, Bomb Kit, Mortar Kit
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage)

A powerful complex build that requires a fast-paced gameplay, benefiting from the use of numerous device kits to maximize both offensive power and general versatility. Switching kits on the fly allows over 25 different weapon skills to be instantly swapped into play at will.



Sanctum Silvermoon's Spirit Blade build (Guardian)

ZEAL: 2-2-1
- Fiery Wrath - Increases damage against burning foes.
- Zealous Blade - Attacks with your greatsword deal extra damage and heal you. Greatsword abilities have reduced recharge.
- Expedious Spirit -   Spirit weapons burn foes they strike. Spirit weapon summon and command skills have reduced recharge.
VALOR: 1-2-1
- Strength of the Fallen -  Lose conditions at a set time interval. Health degenerates more slowly while downed.
- Strength in Numbers - Nearby allies gain toughness based on your effective level.
- Altruistic Healing - Applying a boon to allies heals you.
HONOR: 2-3-1
- Protective Reviver - Activate a shield of absorption when you begin reviving an ally. Upon successful revival, you and ally each gain aegis, protection and regeneration.
- Empowering Might - You and nearby allies gain might when you land a critical hit.
- Pure of Voice - Allies affected by shouts have conditions converted to boons. Shout abilities have their recharge reduced.

Weapons: Greatsword, Staff
Skills: "Receive the Light!", "Stand Your Ground!", Shield of the Avenger, Sword of Justice, "Feel My Wrath!"
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision), Soldier's (Power, Vitality, Toughness)

An offensive build focusing on maximizing team damage and the effectiveness of the Greatsword, while still remaining durable enough to survive in the front line. Swap in any other shouts or spirit weapons as needed for each situation.



Arbor SilverMoon's Mirage Slicer build (Mesmer)

DOMINATION: 2-3-1
- Empowered Illusions - Illusions deal more damage.
- Furious Interruption - Gain quickness when you interrupt a foe.
- Imagined Burden - Whenever you or a clone uses Spatial Surge, you gain might. All of your other greatsword skills inflict cripple. Reduces recharge time of greatsword skills.
INSPIRATION: 1-1-2
- Medic's Feedback - Create a feedback bubble while reviving an ally. Your revival speed is increased.
- Warden's Feedback - Focus weapon skills reflect projectiles. Reduces recharge on focus weapon skills.
- Illusionary Inspiration - Phantasms grant regeneration to nearby allies. Whenever you summon a phantasm, cast Signet of Inspiration.
ILLUSIONS: 2-2-3
- Persistence of Memory - Shattering a phantasm recharges all phantasms by a small amount.
- Phantasmal Haste - Phantasms attack more often.
- Malicious Sorcery - Increases attack speed while wielding a scepter. Reduces recharge on scepter skills.

Weapons: Greatsword, Scepter/Focus
Skills: Signet of the Ether, Feedback, Phantasmal Defender, Phantasmal Disenchanter, Time Warp
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision)

A versatile build focused mainly around Phantasms, and the Greatsword and Focus weapon combination. This build combines the increased Phantasm damage with buffed weapons for a devastating offense and effective support that benefits from both maintaining and shattering phantasms. Replace Feedback with any other skill as the situation calls for.



Hawke Phoenix's Shout Sniper build (Ranger)

MARKSMANSHIP: 1-2-3
- Enlargement - Use Signet of the Wild when your health drops below the threshold.
- Steady Focus - Damage is increased when endurance is full.
- Lead the Wind - While wielding a longbow, your attack speed is increased and your arrows pierce. Longbow and Harpoon Gun skills recharge faster.
SKIRMISHING: 1-1-2
- Sharpened Edges - You and your pet have a chance to cause bleeding on critical hits.
- Spotter -  Increases precision of nearby allies.
- Light on your Feet - Damage and condition duration is increased for a while after dodging. Short bow skills recharge faster and your arrows pierce.
BEASTMASTERY: 3-3-2
- Resounding Timbre - Shouts apply regeneration and swiftness to allies. Reduces recharge on shouts.
- Natural Healing - Your pet gains natural health regeneration and improved healing.
- Zephyr's Speed - You and your pet gain might and quickness when you swap pets.

Weapons: Longbow, Shortbow
Skills: "We Heal As One!", "Protect Me!", "Sic 'Em!", "Guard!", "Strength of the Pack!"
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage)

This build focuses on maximizing both long range offense and party support with shouts. The bows both have enhanced ability and piercing, allowing some good multi-target damage, while the shouts can provide constant team regeneration and swiftness. The pet also has increased abilities and auto-healing, increasing their usability as a distraction or tank.



Cassidy Spark's Death Cannon build (Necromancer)

DEATH MAGIC: 2-3-3
- Shrouded Removal -  Lose a condition when you enter shroud and every few seconds while you remain in shroud.
- Deadly Strength - Gain power based on your toughness. Power gain doubles while in shroud.
- Unholy Sanctuary - Regenerate health while in shroud. If your life force is above the threshold, your death shroud will activate if you take a lethal blow.
BLOOD MAGIC: 1-3-1
- Ritual of Life - Create a well of blood when reviving an ally. Revive speed is increased.
- Vampiric Presence - You and your nearby allies siphon health with attacks.
- Vampiric Rituals - Wells siphon health every time they pulse and grant protection to allies when cast. Reduces recharge of wells.
SOUL REAPING: 1-2-2
- Unyielding Blast - Shroud skill 1 pierces and causes vulnerability.
- Vital Persistence - Life force drains slower while in shroud. Shroud skills recharge faster.
- Death Perception - Increases critical-hit chance while in shroud.

Weapons: Axe/Focus, Staff
Skills: Well of Blood, Signet of the Locust, Well of Power, Well of Suffering, Lich Form
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage)

This offensive build focuses mainly on maximizing Death Shroud's effectiveness, while also providing Wells as support. Effective management of the Life Force pool allows this build to stay in Death Shroud the majority of the time in order to make full use the buffed Life Blast skill, potentially doing tremendous damage.



Lukas Spark's Venom Barrage build (Thief)

CRITICAL STRIKES: 1-3-3
- Side Strike - Gain bonus critical-hit chance when hitting a foe from behind or the side.
- Ankle Shots - Critical hits with pistols and harpoon guns have a chance to cripple foes. Pistol and harpoon attacks deal increased damage to crippled foes.
- Invigorating Precision - You are healed for a percentage of outgoing critical hit damage.
SHADOW ARTS: 2-3-3
- Concealed Defeat - Create a smoke screen when downed. Deception abilities recharge faster.
- Leeching Venoms - Gain might when activating a venom. Siphon life from your foe when triggering a venom. This can only occur once per strike.
- Venomous Aura - When you use a venom skill, you apply the effects to all nearby allies as well. Venom recharges are reduced.
TRICKERY: 3-1-2
- Thrill of the Crime - When you Steal, you and all nearby allies gain fury, might, and swiftness for 10 seconds.
- Bountiful Theft - Stealing grants you and all nearby allies vigor. You rip boons from your target and grant them to nearby allies.
- Sleight of Hand - Stealing also dazes the target. Reduces the recharge of Steal.

Weapons: Pistol/Pistol, Shortbow
Skills: Skelk Venom, Shadow Refuge, Spider Venom, Skale Venom, Basilisk Venom
Gear Attributes: Soldier's (Power, Toughness, Vitality), Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage)

This support build focuses on boosting the effectiveness of Pistols and Venoms. The versatile pistol can act defensively using Black Powder, or offensively using Unload. The venoms have also been heavily boosted and grant multiple beneficial effects to the entire team. Note that unfortunately with the removal of Ricochet, the pistols are unable to hit more than one foe anymore.



Titan Arcana's Glyph Buster build (Elementalist)

FIRE MAGIC: 1-1-1
- Burning Precision - Critical hits have a chance to cause burning, and burning lasts longer.
- Pyromancer's Training -  Deal more damage while attuned to fire. Reduces recharge on all fire weapon skills.
- Persisting Flames -  Executing blast finishers on fire fields grant fury. Fire fields last longer. Create a lava font when you go down.
AIR MAGIC: 3-1-1
- Ferocious Winds - Gain ferocity based on your precision.
- Inscription -  Grants a boon associated with your current attunement when you cast a glyph. Reduces glyph recharge.
- Bolt to the Heart - Deal more damage when your foe's health drops below the threshold.
WATER MAGIC: 1-3-3
- Soothing Ice - Gain regeneration and frost aura when critically hit.
- Aquamancer's Training - Deal extra damage when your health is above the threshold. Reduces recharge on all water weapon skills.
- Soothing Power - Healing effect of Soothing Mist is increased.

Weapon: Staff
Skills:  Glyph of Elemental Harmony, Signet of Air, Glyph of Storms, Glyph of Lesser Elementals, Glyph of Elementals
Gear Attributes: Soldier's (Power, Vitality, Toughness), Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Berserker's (Power, Precision, Ferocity)

A power based build focused on maximizing brute offensive damage and buffing the power of glyphs. This build focuses on mainly using Fire Attunement for offense, while using the glyph abilities of Water Attunement for self-healing, and Earth and Air Attunement for utility when needed.



Aleksander Stormkin's Hammer Storm build (Guardian)

VALOR: 1-2-1
- Strength of the Fallen -  Lose conditions at a set time interval. Health degenerates more slowly while downed.
- Strength in Numbers - Nearby allies gain toughness based on your effective level.
- Altruistic Healing - Applying a boon to allies heals you.
HONOR: 2-3-2
- Protective Reviver - Activate a shield of absorption when you begin reviving an ally. Upon successful revival, you and ally each gain aegis, protection and regeneration.
- Empowering Might - You and nearby allies gain might when you land a critical hit.
- Writ of Persistence - Symbols last longer, are larger, and heal allies.
VIRTUES: 3-3-2
- Master of Consecrations - Consecrations last longer and have reduced recharge.
- Glacial Heart - Critical hits with hammers chill enemies. Hammer recharge is reduced.
- Battle Presence - Nearby allies gain Virtue of Resolve's passive effect.

Weapons: Hammer, Staff
Skills: Signet of Resolve, "Stand Your Ground!", Purging Flames, Wall of Reflection, Signet of Courage
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision), Soldier's (Power, Toughness, Vitality)

A powerful balanced Guardian build, combining the damage and control abilities of the hammer with strong defensive utility skills. This build provides consistent self-healing from Altruistic Healing, with the more allies around you, the more self-healing done, making this ideal for high-level group activities. The defensive capabilities of Consecrations also help to keep you going in the thick of combat. Substitute in Hallowed Ground if you need even more group stability.



Draven Darkcastle's Illusionary Blitzkrieg build (Mesmer)

DUELING: 3-2-2
- Duelist's Discipline -  Pistol attacks from you and your illusions have a chance to cause bleeding. Interrupting a foe recharges pistol skills.
- Evasive Mirror - Gain a barrier that reflects projectiles after a successful evasion.
- Mistrust - Whenever you interrupt a foe, inflict confusion in an area around them.
INSPIRATION: 1-1-2
- Medic's Feedback - Create a feedback bubble while reviving an ally. Your revival speed is increased.
- Warden's Feedback - Focus weapon skills reflect projectiles. Reduces recharge on focus weapon skills.
- Illusionary Inspiration -   Phantasms grant regeneration to nearby allies. Whenever you summon a phantasm, cast Signet of Inspiration.
ILLUSIONS: 2-2-3
- Persistence of Memory - Shattering a phantasm recharges all phantasms by a small amount.
- Phantasmal Haste - Phantasms attack more often.
- Malicious Sorcery -  Increases attack speed while wielding a scepter. Reduces recharge on scepter skills.

Weapons: Scepter/Pistol, Scepter/Focus
Skills: Signet of the Ether, Feedback, Phantasmal Defender, Phantasmal Disenchanter, Time Warp
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision)

A versatile build focused mainly around Phantasms, and the Scepter and Pistol weapon combination. This build combines the increased Phantasm damage with buffed weapons for a powerful mixture of offense and party support that can be powerful whether choosing to shatter illusions or not. Replace Feedback with any other skill as the situation calls for.

Arbor SilverMoon's Chrono-Phantasm build (Mesmer)

DOMINATION: 2-3-1
- Empowered Illusions - Illusions deal more damage.

CHRONOMANCER: 3-3-3
- All's Well that Ends Well - Wells grant alacrity to allies when they end.
- Improved Alacrity - Alacrity applied to you lasts longer.
- Chronophantasma - Your phantasms respawn the first time they are shattered.

Weapons: Greatsword, Scepter/Shield or Scepter/Pistol
Skills: Well of Eternity, Well of Recall, Phantasmal Defender, Phantasmal Disenchanter, Gravity Well
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision)

A versatile offensive build focused mainly around Phantasms, and the Greatsword and Scepter weapons. This build combines the increased Phantasm damage with buffed weapons for an effective onslaught that allows you to both sustain and shatter illusions continuously. This build also allows you to easily maintain alacrity on both yourself and teammates. Replace Well of Recall with any other skill as the situation calls for.



Cassidy Spark's Soul Reaper build (Necromancer)

DEATH MAGIC: 2-3-3
- Shrouded Removal - Lose a condition when you enter shroud and every few seconds while you remain in shroud.
- Deadly Strength - Gain power based on your toughness. Power gain doubles while in shroud.
- Unholy Sanctuary - Regenerate health while in shroud. If your life force is above the threshold, your death shroud will activate if you take a lethal blow.
SOUL REAPING: 2-2-2
- Soul Marks - Marks generate life force when triggered. Marks are unblockable.
- Vital Persistence - Life force drains slower while in shroud. Shroud skills recharge faster.
- Death Perception - Increases critical-hit chance while in shroud.
REAPER: 1-1-3
- Augury of Death - Reduces recharge of shouts. Your shouts siphon health and gain additional recharge reduction for each foe they hit.
- Soul Eater - Reduces recharge on greatsword skills. Gravedigger steals health if it hits.
- Reaper's Onslaught - Attack faster while in reaper's shroud. Killing a foe reduces recharge on shroud skills.

Weapons: Greatsword, Staff
Skills: "Your soul is mine!", Signet of the Locust, "You are all weaklings!", "Rise!", Lich Form
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage)

This tanking build focuses mainly on maximizing the durability and damage of Reaper's Shroud, while also providing Shouts as support. Effective management of the Life Force pool allows this build to stay in Reaper's Shroud the majority of the time, in order to both inflict and withstand tremendous damage.



Aleksander Stormkin's Dragon Trapper build (Guardian)

ZEAL: 2-2-1
- Fiery Wrath - Increases damage against burning foes.
- Zealous Blade - Attacks with your greatsword deal extra damage and heal you. Greatsword abilities have reduced recharge.
- Expedious Spirit - Spirit weapons burn foes they strike. Spirit weapon summon and command skills have reduced recharge.

DRAGONHUNTER: 1-1-1
- Piercing Light - Traps daze enemies when activating and have reduced recharge times.
- Hunter's Determination - Gain aegis and drop a Fragments of Faith trap at your location when you are inflicted with stun, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, taunt, float, fear, launch, or sink.
- Hunter's Fortification - Remove conditions when blocking. Receive less damage when you have no conditions on you.

Weapons: Longbow, Greatsword
Skills: Purification, Test of Faith, Procession of Blades, Sword of Justice, Dragon's Maw
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Knight's (Toughness, Precision, Power), Soldier's (Power, Toughness, Vitality)

A powerful offensive tanking build, combining the high damage of the Greatsword with the supportive abilities of traps and spirit weapons. Substitute in other traps or spirit weapons as needed. The high damage and control abilities of the longbow provide a strong long range option when needed.



Titan Arcana's Glyphic Typhoon build (Elementalist)

FIRE MAGIC: 1-1-1
- Burning Precision - Critical hits have a chance to cause burning, and burning lasts longer.
- Pyromancer's Training - Deal more damage while attuned to fire. Reduces recharge on all fire weapon skills.
- Persisting Flames - Executing blast finishers on fire fields grant fury. Fire fields last longer. Create a lava font when you go down.
AIR MAGIC: 1-1-1
- Zephyr's Boon - Auras grant fury and swiftness when applied.
- Inscription - Grants a boon associated with your current attunement when you cast a glyph. Reduces glyph recharge.
- Bolt to the Heart - Deal more damage when your foe's health drops below the threshold.
TEMPEST: 3-3-3
- Unstable Conduit - Overloading an attunement grants an aura based on the element you're attuned to when the ability is completed.
- Harmonious Conduit - Gain stability when beginning an overload. Upon successfully completng an overload, gain increased damage for a period of time.
- Element Bastion - Auras you apply heal allies. Apply a frost aura to yourself and nearby allies when struck while below the health threshold.

Weapon: Staff
Skills: Glyph of Elemental Harmony, Signet of Air, Glyph of Elemental Power, Glyph of Lesser Elementals, Glyph of Elementals
Gear Attributes: Carrion (Condition Damage, Power, Vitality), Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision)

A variation of my Blast Furnace build that incorporates attunement overloading to add further damage and utility. This build focuses on staying in fire attunement the majority of the time, to inflict massive levels of AoE damage.



Lukas Spark's Venom Assault build (Thief) (requires testing)

SHADOW ARTS: 2-3-3
- Concealed Defeat - Create a smoke screen when downed. Deception abilities recharge faster.
- Leeching Venoms - Gain might when activating a venom. Siphon life from your foe when triggering a venom. This can only occur once per strike.
- Venomous Aura - When you use a venom skill, you apply the effects to all nearby allies as well. Venom recharges are reduced.
TRICKERY: 1-1-2
- Uncatchable - Leave behind Caltrops when you dodge.
- Bountiful Theft - Stealing grants you and all nearby allies vigor. You rip boons from your target and grant them to nearby allies.
- Sleight of Hand - Stealing also dazes the target. Reduces the recharge of Steal.
DAREDEVIL: 2-1-1
- Weakening Strikes - Cause weakness to enemies you critically hit.

This support build focuses on boosting the effectiveness of Staff and Venoms. The venoms have been heavily boosted and grant multiple beneficial effects to the entire team, while the Daredevil line enhances dodging to be offensive as well as defensive.



Crash Schprocket's Demolition Tank build (Engineer)

FIREARMS: 2-1-3
- Heavy Armor Exploit - Your critical hits have a chance to give you swiftness and apply vulnerability to your foe.
- Pinpoint Distribution - You gain condition damage based on your precision.
- Incendiary Powder - Critical hits inflict burning. Burning you apply lasts 33% longer.
TOOLS: 1-1-2
- Static Discharge - Discharge a bolt of lightning whenever you use a tool belt skill.
- Streamlined Kits - Equipping a kit creates an attack or spell and grants you swiftness.
- Adrenal Implant - Endurance regeneration is increased.
SCRAPPER: 1-1-1
- Shocking Speed - Using a leap or blast finisher in a lightning field applies superspeed around you.
- Rapid Regeneration - Rapidly recover health while affected by swiftness or superspeed.
- Adaptive Armor - Gain stacking toughness when struck. Reduce incoming condition damage.

A tanking build maximizing self-healing and melee damage. The various abilities of the hammer and gyros provide for an effective personal defense as well as close range support to allies. Activate Elixir Gun for additional support and a ranged combat option. Swap in the Perfectly Weighted trait (hammer skills deal increased damage, evading an attack grants stability) for a more offensive variant of the build. Swap in Mortar Kit in situations where you don't need stealth.



Talis Heimlauss' Shaman Sniper build (Ranger)

MARKSMANSHIP: 1-2-3
- Enlargement - Use Signet of the Wild when your health drops below the threshold.
- Steady Focus - Damage is increased when endurance is full.
- Lead the Wind - While wielding a longbow, your attack speed is increased and your arrows pierce. Longbow and Harpoon Gun skills recharge faster.
BEASTMASTERY: 3-3-2
- Resounding Timbre - Shouts apply regeneration and swiftness to allies. Reduces recharge on shouts.
- Natural Healing - Your pet gains natural health regeneration and improved healing.
- Zephyr's Speed - You and your pet gain might and quickness when you swap pets.
DRUID: 3-2-2
- Primal Echoes - Reduces recharge of staff skills. Daze nearby foes when you swap to staff.
- Verdant Etching - Reduces recharge of glyphs. Activating a glyph skills plants a seed.
- Grace of the Land - Allies you heal with celestial avatar abilities gain increased damage.

This build focuses on maximizing both long range offense and party healing support with shouts and glyphs. The pet's sustainability has been enhanced, and can be used to mitigate damage with the "Guard!" shout. Activate the shouts often to keep swiftness and regeneration on the party continuously. Replace any of the shouts with glyphs if the situation requires.



Kaelan Stormkin's Mist Slicer build (Revenant)

DEVASTATION: 1-3-3
- Assassin's Presence - Increase the ferocity of nearby allies.
- Ferocious Strikes - Gain increased ferocity while dual-wielding weapons.
- Assassin's Annihilation - Siphon life from foes when hitting a foe from behind or the side.
CORRUPTION: 1-2-2
- Replenishing Despair - Incoming conditions heal you for a small amount.
- Frigid Precision - Chance to chill your foe when you land a critical hit.
- Maniacal Persistence - Increase your critical-hit chance every few seconds. This bonus is reset when you land a critical hit.
HERALD: 3-2-2
- Hardening Persistence - Gain toughness for each point of upkeep you are currently using.
- Shared Empowerment - When you apply a boon to an ally, also apply might to nearby allies.
- Soothing Bastion - Activate Crystal Hibernation when you are struck below the health threshold. Using a shield skill will increase boon duration.

Weapons: Hammer, Sword/Shield
Legends: Glint, Mallyx
Gear Attributes: Cleric's (Healing Power, Toughness, Power), Knight's (Toughness, Power, Precision), Rampager's (Precision, Power, Condition Damage)

A versatile build designed to effectively tank enemies, provide boons to the team, and inflict strong damage. Glint stance in combination with the sword/shield combo provides a strong offense and self-defense, and should be used the majority of the time. The hammer can be switched to when it is not feasible to be up close, and Mallyx can be used to inflict extra damage when it's safe to do so. Swap Mallyx with any other Legend if the situation requires.
